PLANT SELECTION

The right plant in the right place is the key to garden success.

Smaller house blocks mean many older plants are too big for modern gardens. I can select and source the right plants for your garden, increasing your chances of success. Many new varieties are bred to reduce the time you spend maintaining the garden. Hedging only once a year, leaves more weekends to enjoy your garden.

Our climate is changing and we need to make sound plant choices that contribute to cooling and warming your home; that will withstand variable temperature and rainfall and endure extended droughts.

For large orders, I source plants direct from wholesale nurseries, both from the local area and interstate. This gives you the opportunity to purchase more mature plants, offers substantial savings and offers a greater variety of plants to choose from.

GARDEN DESIGN

To make your garden aspirations come true, I can design interior and exterior garden spaces, and select and source the right plants for your block.

I can style your plants to make the most of your courtyard, terrace or indoor plant collection. If you're getting a house and garden ready for sale, I can show you how to spruce it up for best impact.

I know not everyone is a plant nerd like me.

If you need a simple, low maintenance garden that lets you spend more time with your family or your passions outside the garden, I can do that too. If you want to create a garden to stimulate your senses; delight children with tactile and adventurous spaces; or a make lush space to retreat, I can help.

GARDEN CONSULTATION

If you have a garden and don't know where to start, I will show you what to keep, prune, remove and plant so your garden looks its best.

I am happy to coach and advise you on your garden journey. If you want to DIY rather than use a landscaper, I am happy to give you the guidance and you do the labor.

And when you need more expertise than I can give you, I will happily share my contacts for those more complex jobs. There are lots of outstanding local suppliers and tradespeople who can help you on your way, and I am happy to share those I trust.

If you are an architect, builder, landscaper or garden designer I can offer additional help in plant selection. Most house development approvals now require detailed plant selection as part of the submitted plans. I can help you select the plants in consultation with your clients that will meet necessary requirements.
